we cancel 2y with 14 y and get 1 over 7 and cancel 5u and 15uy to get 3y over 1 multiply and get  3y over 7

  look for common factors between a numerator and a denominator
u is in a numerator and a denominator so they can cancel leaving

1 y from a numerator can cancel with the y in the denominator
5 can be factored from 5 and 15 leaving
2 can be factored from 2 and 14 leaving
multiply numerators and denominators giving
