Response Details:
A = πr2
A = (3.14)(2x)2
A = 28.26
(3.14)(2x)2 = 28.26
(2x)2 = 9
(2x) = 3
x= 3/2

Find the value of x. (use 3.14 as an approximation for π)
A=28.26

   A = π D2
  28.26 = 3.14 * (4x)2
  28.26 = 3.14 * 16 x2
  x2 = 28.26 / 50.24 = 0.5625
   x  = 0.75

A= 28.26 is area so then you just divide it by the equation of area of a circle
will give you the variable r (solve for r).
then you have 2r (radius needs to times 2 for diameter) = 4x so just solve for x by dividing the r
Answer should be= 1.499619734

Response Details:
Area of a circle is πr² and radius is half of the diameter, so the radius is 2X
A= π(2x)²
A=4X²π
A=3.14(4)(x²)
A=12.56x²
28.26=12.56x²
divide both sides by 12.56
2.25=x²
square root both sides and you get x=1.5 :)
