explanation?

Course Textbook Chapter Problem

Question Details:
The question is, " How are radical expressions and exponential expressions related? In what sense do radicals  and exponentials behave the same way? "
 
I am much better at just doing it then explaining how. Any help would be great.

It's pretty much what the person above said.
 
For exemple:
 
 
The 3 is called the index.
The 2 is called the exponent.
The x is called the argument.
 
 They'res other relations too, for exemple:
 
 
Same base of x, you can add the exponents.

As of today in 2008, nobody in the world has found the sum of all they know is that it converges because of the p-serie theorem but they cannot find the sum.

One of my teachers, as been working on that sum for about 5 years now, he found a concret answer (he ended up creating an instrument of that serie called ''tritare'' its pretty cool) but he has not found a mathematical expression to express it.
