The smaller of two concsecutive integers is 23 more than one fourth of the larger.  Find the Integers.

Response Details:
x=1st number
x+1 = 2nd number
   get rid of denominator by multiplying all by 4
4x=x+1+92                      subtract x from each side
3x=93                              divide each side by 3
x=31
the 2 numbers are 31 & 32
to check
31 the smaller number is 1/4 the larger number +23
31=8+23

x = 23 + (x + 1)/4

4x = 92 + x + 1

3x = 93

x = 31

so 31, 32
