4y - 28 - 2y +6y2 = 6y2
2y = 28
y=14

4(y-7)-2y(1-3y)=6y2
 
4y - 28 - 2y + 6y2 = 6y2      (Distribute)
 
2y - 28 = 0     (Subtract both sies by  6y2  and collect like terms  )
 
2y = 28  (Divide both sides by two)
 
y = 14

What are you suppposed to do?
This is equation reduces to y=14
 
4(y-7)-2y(1-3y)=6y2
 
4y-28-2y+6y2=6y2
 
2y=28
 
y=14
