mRNA that has a frame shift mutations still produces a viable protein???? help

Course Textbook Chapter Problem
General Biology N/A N/A N/A
Question Details:

Is it possible that a mRNA that has a frame shift mutation would still produce a viable protein? Justify your answer.

This is extra info that came with the question... but I'm not sure that it is connected to the question.. .so it may not be much help.
Thanks for your answer!!!

We have mentioned the presence of a promoter sequence upstream of the DNA gene. There are also other regulatory elements upstream of the gene that we will discuss soon. If a mutation occurs in any of these locations that too may have a significant impact on the control of the transcription process. These are known as regulatory mutations. Other regulatory mutations include changes to the sequences that indicate the transition between an intron and exon, as well as a termination codon.

The following graphic provides a visual overview indicating how a nonsense mutation may affect the functioning of a protein.

Response Details:
If the frame shift occurs near the start of translation on the mRNA or the C-terminus is involved in the primary functional aspects of the protein, then chances are a functional protein will not be produced.

if the frame shift mutation occurs toward the end of the mRNA, it may simply cause a stop codon and alter the regulation or localization of the protein.

For example, frame shift near the GPI signal (C-terminus) of a GPI-anchor protein would simply remove the anchor, and produce a functional soluble receptor
