assuming you want dy/dt (due to your variable)

use the quotient rule which is:

[denominator*derivative of numerator - numerator*derivative of denominator] / [denominator]^2

so your derivative will be

and f ' (t) = 1, and ln(e) = 1

so= f ' (x)

an easy way to remeber the quotient rule as well is the rhyme

low d-high minus high d-low draw the line and square below, where the d represents the derivative of the top or bottom
