Parameterize Surfaces

Course Textbook Chapter Problem
N/A N/A N/A N/A
Question Details:
How do you parameterize the equation:

x^2+4y^2+9z^2=1

I keep getting half of an ellipsoid when I graph it via maple. I know it should look like an ellipsoid so I must not be parameterizing correctly.

Thanks!

"Yep, that was it. Thank you!"
Response Details:
very simple, you are drawing the surface for positve z -only. ,next time take z in negative numbers too.
since  z2=f(x,y)  means that   z=√f(x,y)     and  z= -√f(x,y)  .
I hope ,I correctly guessed your problem.
