MW of ibuprofen:
13*12 + 18*1 + 2*16 = 206 g/mol

17.3 g *(1mol/206g)*(13 mol C/1mol ibuprofen) = 1.09 mol C

1.09 mol C*(12 g C/1mol C) = 13.08 g C

I agree with both posters except the significant figures should only be 3 in the second answer, or 13.1 g C.
Spending precious time on a problem that results in a rating of "not helpful" or "somewhat helpful" is deemed a wasted effort. With certainty, I'll be sure not to provide assistance in that direction again.
