thanks so much for helping but i don't understand. I don't think P can have 5 lines of it. It shows two double bonds and then a single bond. Is that possible?

P can have five lines.  Starting in row three of the periodic table, the atoms towards the end (like S and P) have a d orbital...which allows for an expanded octet, or more than eight electrons around that atom.
