POLE-ZERO CANCELLATION!!! WILL RATE LIFESAVER!!!

Course Textbook Chapter Problem

Question Details:
Determine if  Pole-Zero cancellation can be approximated for the following functions:
 
a)   C(s) = (s+3) / ((s+2)(s^2+3s+ 10))
 
b)   C(s) = (s+2.5) / ((s+2)(s^2+4s+ 20))
 
c)    C(s) = (s+2.1) / ((s+2)(s^2+s+5))
 
d)    C(s) = (s+2.01) / ((s+2)(s^2+5s+ 20))
 
 
This problem has been killing me for the past few days, I'm not sure at all how to determine if you can do pole-zero cancellation. If anyone can help me out I'd appreciate it a lot
