Question Details:
A baseball is dropped from rest from teh top of a roof and fell 10 meters to the ground. Assume the direction is positive. The average velocity of the baseball during the free falling motion is?

This is an interesting problem becuase they do no provide your with much information they only give you:
ΔX=10m
g=-9.81m/s2 this is given becuase the problem says dropped so this automaticlly means that its acceleration will be -9.81m/s2
 the only answer I can see would be -9.81m/s
or something that would have to do with the equation Vf2=Vi2+2gΔx and you have to rearange it
anyone care to confirm??
