Response Details:
the answer is : Elastic collision: A collision in which the total kinetic energy is conserved.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Inelastic collision: A collision in which the total kinetic energy is not conserved· ie the energy is transferred elsewhere: sound, heat, deformation, etc

Impulse: The magnitude of the force mulitiplied by the time in which it acts, also defined as the change in momentum. This can be a measure of the damage that is applied to a particular body in a collision

Response Details:
An elastic collision between two objects is one in which the total kinetic energy as well as total momentum of the system is the same before and after the collision.

An inelastic collision is one in which the total kinetic energy of the system is not the same before and after the collision even though the momentum of the system is conserved.

The answer is ELASTIC COLLISION.

Response Details:
A collision in which the total kinetic energy is conserved is called an elastic collision. kinetic energy and momentum is conserved in such a collision. The total kinetic energy before the collision equals the kinetic energy after the collision.
