Response Details:
E = m * c^2 = m0 * c^2 / √(1 - (v/c)^2)
E = m0 * c^2 + KE =  m0 * c^2 +  2 * m0 * c^2 =  3 * m0 * c^2
 
So 1 /  √(1 - (v/c)^2) = 3  
 
So you should get     (v / c)^2 = 8 / 9  and  v / c = 2 * √2 / 3
